What Information We Collect
When you register and play, Powerplay collects the details needed to run your account: name, date of birth, address, email, phone number, and identity documents for verification.
We also record your transactions, bets, game sessions, device information and location data where required to confirm you're playing from an eligible province.
Why We Use It
Your information lets us open and manage your account, process payments, verify your age and identity, prevent fraud and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We also use activity data to spot signs of risky play so we can offer support, and, if you agree, to send promotions relevant to you. You can switch off marketing at any time in your account settings.
Who We Share It With
We share data only where necessary: with payment processors to move your money, identity verification services, game providers that run the titles you play, and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information. Anyone handling data on our behalf must protect it to standards at least as strict as our own.
How We Protect It
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and systems are monitored for unauthorised activity. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
You can help by using a strong unique password, enabling biometric login on mobile and never sharing your account.
Your Rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and ask questions about how it is handled. Contact support to make a request.
Some data must be kept for set periods even after an account closes, for example to meet anti-money-laundering rules. We'll explain what applies to your case.
